i've got to replace the tramp on my cat, and these things are
expensive! Being on the hefty side of 200# i find myself damaging
tramps on most of the boats i've owned.... are there other options? I
typically end up double or tripple grometting them to give better
support, but the masic material degrades with time and rips just the
same. Are there good reasons not to use something solid? a fibreglass
floor perhaps?
