Hi all,
Looking into emergency services options for a remote island home, I came across "StarMD", which has a joint promotion with SeaTow (http://www.starmd.org/seatow/ ) . Basically, they offer telephone consultation with emergency MD's, along with various support services, and a standard first aid kit (so the MD you talk to knows what you've got available). The price seems to be reasonable (maybe too reasonable); it sounds like a great concept. Anybody have any experience with them, or similar services? One I found is worldclinic.com, for international travelers, and presumably there are others. |
