Nacy's china vs core sound 17

looking for a design for daysailer on protected waters with possible
overnight ability for my wife and I. I know core sound 17 is open but
is ok with a boom tent.Nancy's china looks like a sweet little boat. Has
anyone built either of these boats? I want to stay in the 16-17' range
because of singlehandle and ease of trailoring.
