Another post from someone who obviously gets off on the sound of their own
typing. If you took the time to read the original post and had a clue you would realize that a 12yj isn`t for a PWC. This is in fact a river fishing boat I am trying to get going. "Brian D" wrote in message ... By all means, Yes! The best way to fix a 'personal watercraft' is to run it for about an hour in your driveway, no water needed, especially if you habitually use it anywhere near fishing grounds. Brian "R Mac" wrote in message news:TRJve.102800$El.64220@pd7tw1no... Does anybody know if its ok to run a Jacuzzi 12yj jet in the driveway to tune up the engine? Is there any seals that need to worry about running dry? If so is there a way to run water to the critical parts? |

What everyone is trying to tell you is don't do it. If their is a seal
where the prop shaft exits the hull it probably needs to be run in water to cool it, it's not getting cooled in air. For very brief periods of time you might get away with it, but not for very long. |
