I have a Hydrovane and want to duplicate the vane with something
stronger than the ageing light weight original wooden one. Vanes on the new windvanes are metal tubing w/lashed on fabric. Suggestions ? Appreciatively, Courtney -- s/v Mutiny Rhodes Bounty II lying Oriental, NC WDB5619 |

Also I would check into thin starboard(a high density poly- ethylene), say 1/8"-1/4" thick. Comes in colors and is UV resistant. -- "Let bygones be bygones...send a concilliatory PRETZEL to the Whitehouse!"
