Default Q: Plans for plywood camping dingy

Actually it should be built like a plywood dingy, but on foam sheets (glass
weave+epoxy) Plywood hull weight max 80Kg's.

Looking for plans...

Type:
Stable, 16-18", large-lake sailing (+ row + 5hp) camping dingy.

Easy to sail with only (1) big sail or auto fock (is that understandable
language around here?) Easy removable smart keel or center plate. Suitable
for 1 person sailing and transport.

It looks like Jon welsfords' Walkabout fits the bill quite well:
http://www.duckworksmagazine.com/sto...bout/index.htm

easy lug rig with mizzen, so it is kinda self tacking. Unstayed masts that
are easily stepped, a long and resonably wide floor for sleeping
(centerboard is off center) and a tent designed for it too.

The construction seems quite doable (lapstrake ply epoxy over stringers and
frames) but isn't the fastest method around. I would not advise to build it
in any other method than the one it was designed for, esp not in GRP/GRE.
That actually weights more than normal plywood. Wrap your plywood in epoxy
glass if you think you need that, but it adds a lot to the weight and does
not remove the need for a layer of (good) paint once in a while.

If you think that is too complicated, then go with one of the inta-boat
designers like Bolger or Michalak. Don't even think about using anything
other that ply as main construction material in that case either.

yeah it is great to dream about building boats, maybe even better than
building them, you keep your hands clean for instance...

Welsfords designs, is very high quality but aren't suitable for may very low
weight ambitions. His boats need some displacement.

Look at Morten Oleson's http://www.boatplans.dk

He has a few nice plans and will probably calculate the scantlings for
foam if you ask him.
