Minimize drift or movement between measurements.

Distance to points - minimize (assuming angle accuracy remains the same).

-If they were all orthogonal (at right angles to each other) you would get
the most accuracy.



If moving, in what order would you take the LOPs?

-Good question. If moving, take the bearings that move the most last, ie
bearings at right angles to your motion.
