I think Zinfandel is about the worst wine I have ever tasted. And your link says it sells for $55 a bottle! There must be some strange people out there. In an article about Sarah Palin I have just seen a recipe for moose stew and the author recommended that a 'robust zinfandel' was the right wine to be drunk with it!! Robust? Ye gods, the ordinary stuff is bad enough. What a way to treat a moose. YMMV of course. It takes all sorts... Huzzah! Eau d'aborigine's armpit..... Cheers Martin |

A friend has been given vouchers for a "Flying Experience" day. He can exchange these for a "Driving Experience" day. The two of us will do the day together as our 51st Birthday Treat. The company that runs the voucher scheme will determine where we can Last week was at Millbrook Proving grount. You can see it on Google Earth about 50 miles North of London beside the M1. It comes up as Millbrook, Bedford in my version of "Earth". Regards Donal -- |

Hey, they have to do *something* with all those darn grapes In an article about Sarah Palin I have just seen a recipe for moose stew and the author recommended that a 'robust zinfandel' was the right wine to be drunk with it!! Robust? Ye gods, the ordinary stuff is bad enough. What a way to treat a moose. YMMV of course. It takes all sorts... Personally, I like beer with moose, depending on how it's seasoned. DSK Moose is hard to come by here, but it goes great with Lone Star beer. For great game dinners try the Rainbow Lodge in Houston. They have a sampler plate with medallions of various wild game. I never appreciated wild game before eating at Rainbow. Now it's my favorite place to eat. |
