Joe Biden has been in the Senate for 36 years, but he's completely qualified
to deal with the crisis. That's because he's a Democrat. In fact, don't you
agree with Nancy Pelosi (only 20 years in office) that not one single
Democrat or the Democrats in general are to blame for any of the mess. It's
all the Republican's fault.

It's just amazing that for you political affiliation alone is the
determining factor for good or evil and actually defines evil. Saves a lot
of unnecessary thought, understanding and analysis doesn't it?

Martin Luther King was a Republican.

What's interesting if the word "Republican" was replaced with an ethnic,
sexual orientation or gender category one would be called a hate monger. But
it's ok to hate Republicans, whether they are elected into office, or your
neighbor or co worker or client.

The problem isn't the Democrats or Republicans. The problem is people like
you who want to give the government so much power over other people's lives
(and your own too) and then tell them how to run everything. All you ever
get out of your view and methods is more bandaids on top of bandaids and
things will always get worse. It's a form of mental disorder when someone
feels so compelled to arrange and order the lives of others. It also shows a
lack of respect for your fellow man which stems from your own core
evaluation.

Psychologically healthy people manage their own lives, respect others, leave
others free to their own path of choice. They don't leave a path of wreckage
behind them, they can put themselves in the other guy's place, they can see
themselves as others see them - in other words the have something called
"emotional intelligence". They also realize that first they must solve their
own personal problems before they can go on to solve the problems of the
world (and all the world's problems are simply a large collection of
personal problems, the most dire come from those with personal problems and
power).

To judge people solely on their political affiliation, religion, skin color,
or any other classification falls short of judging the entire person in
what it takes to be a complete human being. Someday, though highly unlikely,
you may develop that capacity to see yourself and others. Until then, it's
all the Republican's fault.

It's amazing that after all that's happened that ANYONE could vote for
McCain or truly feel McCain is the face of change. No one, not a

has nothing to do with party affiliation. Only the most ignorant or
gullible still believes Bush to be a republican. He's been nothing
short of a opportunist with virtually no US interests at the core.
McCain will continue with this of course. Watching him on stage making
his speeches is just about painful. He's too old. Not everyone his age
is. But McCain's hard life has left him weaker than many and the job
will kill him. His VP is not capable at all.

So in the end we may have an even worse 4 years ahead because people
vote AGAINST candidates more than for them these days. With McCain in
office the economy will fall deeper and deeper into the drink and the
days of Clinton will seem like the Roaring twenties.

If you do the math, (well arithmetic in fact), each and every American
family gets to pay $10,000 to bail out the Wall St, boys.

Before you fly of the handle Dave, I realize that those who pay no taxes
will probably get a handout,,,,, that just means that those of you who
work hard to make a decent living will get to pay an even larger share
to save these idiots asses.

It's amazing that after all that's happened that ANYONE could vote for
McCain or truly feel McCain is the face of change.

It's amazing that ANYONE would dare to vote for ANYONE.

No one, not a
single Bush detractor ever expected Bush to be so awful at his job.

I'm a Bush detractor from day one and Bush has done a bit better than I
expected. That still doesn't make him any good.

It
has nothing to do with party affiliation. Only the most ignorant or
gullible still believes Bush to be a republican. He's been nothing
short of a opportunist with virtually no US interests at the core.

Is this unique to Bush? Virtually all of Congress has their own self
interests at the core.

McCain will continue with this of course.

As will just about anyone elected.

Watching him on stage making
his speeches is just about painful.

You actually sit through political speeches?

He's too old. Not everyone his age
is. But McCain's hard life has left him weaker than many and the job
will kill him.

Problem solved then.

His VP is not capable at all.

But neither is anyone one else in the race.

So in the end we may have an even worse 4 years ahead because people
vote AGAINST candidates more than for them these days.

It will be a worse 4 years regardless of who is elected. People don't want
to fix problems, they simply want them to go away. I hope it gets bad enough
that the size of government actually gets deep, deep, cuts.

With McCain in
office the economy will fall deeper and deeper into the drink and the
days of Clinton will seem like the Roaring twenties.

The days of Clinton were the roaring 20's. Now we're entering into the
1930's. In the long term it may be good for America. The next generation or
two may hold the same values as those who grew up during the depression. I
see economy and frugality as virtues and excess consumption, self indulgence
as vices. So when are you getting the new Evo?

Marty,

Is this the ergot to which you refer:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ergot

"Ergot contains no lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) but instead contains
ergotamine, which is used to synthesize lysergic acid, an analog of and
precursor for synthesis of LSD. Moreover, ergot sclerotia naturally contain
some amounts of lysergic acid. [4]"

Housing prices in the Sacramento area has dropped over 30% since its peak in
Jan '06. I can understand his concern about the financial crisis, he's
already lost over a quarter million dollars in valuation from the peak. God
forbid he refinanced and pulled equity out of inflated houses, the last
place to be is upside down. Unfortunately, keeping housing prices inflated
is not the solution to the problem, it will only prolong it.

Housing prices in the Sacramento area has dropped over 30% since its peak
in Jan '06. I can understand his concern about the financial crisis, he's
already lost over a quarter million dollars in valuation from the peak.
God forbid he refinanced and pulled equity out of inflated houses, the
last place to be is upside down. Unfortunately, keeping housing prices
inflated is not the solution to the problem, it will only prolong it.

I hope he loses his ass! I'd love to see him foreclosed upon. I hope they
keep raising property taxes out there until he can't pay them anymore. After
all, how much can somebody make from sailing lessons? I love to see him
victimized by the very liberal policies he advocates and votes for. T'would
serve the idiot right! The only way these libs are ever going to learn is
when they lose their asses and can't get any more handouts from the
government.

I don't wish foreclosure on him, especially someone so nice and so dedicated
to seeking the truth. I pray he makes all his mortgage payments and meets
all his obligations. I also hope that house prices are allowed to fall to
their true market levels so those of lesser income can afford to purchase
one. I'm also sure that California, the most benevolent state in the union,
will create many new programs to help those displaced by the housing crisis,
regardless of citizenship. Some will feel the squeeze of the cost of these
new programs, be it in higher gas taxes, recreational fees, boat and car
registration, business taxes, income taxes, net worth taxes, and the like
but it should all be taken in the context of being a great privilege to help
those less fortunate than oneself. Jonathan would never see this as wrong or
bad, there's not a single streak of malevolence in his entire being.
Jonathan would be elevated to a higher astral plane by spending more of his
industry to help his fellow man. Jonathan also realizes the even greater
benevolence and wisdom of elected Democrats. Higher taxes simply mean better
living for everyone and egalitarian policies of enforced equality can only
bring true harmony to the masses. Such is the nature of true benevolence.
Jonathan is nothing less than that. I truly hope that Jonathan gets all the
government he wishes for.

That's just ducky! The more ways the Governator and liberal legislature can
stick it those stupid liberal voters like JonBoi in the land of fruits and
nuts the better. Let them see what their socialist ideas cost up front and
personal.
