I take that back, some submarines are big ships, and they are self righting. Of course, they prefer to be submerged under extreme conditions. WWII German subs used to get totally submerged by waves, when on the surface. Lookouts had to hold their breath for a good thirty seconds. The diesels continued to run, and ears would hurt. Casady |
