And again, you're off by a factor of 20.

I have two doctorates,

those doctors are there to help you

pulling out of DC was funny.

I'm sure you thot that.

OTOH, you got hung up misunderstanding the numbers and missed the humor.

It would have been interesting, sad though, not funny, if there was
even a seed of truth in your "joke." But to just make up nonsense
like that and claim its funny is just lame.

Yup, I must be an idiot. Bwahahahaha!

Truer words couldn't be said.

Doctorates? Two? And what are they in? Don't bull****, we can see
it a mile away. They're not in "grammer."

What kind of school offer degrees in, "divinity," and,
"made-up-physics?" And who would hire someone with them?

Our parish priest has a Masters in Divinity....it's just another word
for Theology...and Metaphysics is just another term for
Philosophy....means Vito is probably very erudite....also means he
probably knows who Teilhard de Chardin is....among others...Aristotle
was a metaphysicist...Vito, are you a priest disguised as a sailor?

Why, thank you but there is so much to learn that I fear I shall die long
before becoming erudite grin

Yes. I have never really understood "original sin". Even in the Christian
version of Genesis, Adam and Eve are punished for their sin of
disobedience - she by painful childbirth and he by having to labor for a
living - and that is the end of it - leaving one to wonder why a savior was
needed let alone a church. The church saw that question coming in
Teilhardt's ideas.

They don't like to hear about Elohim (plural) or Lillith or ... etc. .....
either.

I started Latin in 10th grade over 50 years ago. It provided access to
ideas and info that were otherwise censored in those days. Sorry to say I
forgot 99% of it during my working career in engineering but continued my
studies on/off to this day.

To answer Horvath - no, these studies never got me a job or a raise but
designing killing machines provided a nice income and now a reasonable
retirement.

: ...Vito, are you a priest disguised as a sailor?

Hmmm .... naw, the other way around. No church would like my 'rap' on how
it is Satan tool grin.
God forbid mankind two things: eternal life and the knowledge of good and
evil. Churches promise the former and claim to know all about the latter.
So ......

Best regards, Vito

Teilhard liked Pelagiys' philsophy regarding man's origins and original
sin rather than the Augustinian viewpoint, which most of the Christian
world today bought not...just think of how different Christianity would
be if the Church had listened to Pelagius rather than Augustine...it
would be a kinder, more gentler Church...

They don't like to hear about Elohim (plural) or Lillith or ... etc. .....

Yeah..they tend to duscount all the early Judaic writings regarding that...

You just didn't look in the right place...you'd make a great
Jesuit....and the Church is always in need of a good Devil's Advocate...

Best regards, Vito
