I wish I had bought a projector instead of a 60" 1080p.

Keep in mind that the set can be used in a lit room. The projector
requires a dedicated area with full light control.

Well then...you should have bought a projector.
Only dorks like Sloco don't know that projectors have shed most of
their old problems. No rainbow effect, no SD effect, long bulb life,
ultra sharp images that rival any set and GIANT screen size.

We usually go out to the theatre, meet some friends, have a meal in a
nice restaurant......

We do that too, but our own private theatre is on OUR schedule. I'm
taking Thomas to a party in Brooklyn after the boat today. When we get
back it'll be nice to settle back for a movie if we want. More
options, more fun.
I forgot to mention that our theatre cost more than Scotty's
boat...five times over!
