If Bob C had done a bit of research he'd know that Meade uses larger
seconadary obstruction construction yeilding lower contrast images. Recently they made their primaries oversized, which improved light loss, but not contrast. Celestron optics still win in comparison tests. But both Celestron and Meade are consumer grade optics and I've invested in pro quality optics instead. Celestron, BTW is the scope used by Mister S. himself!!!! http://www.scopereviews.com/ctron2.jpg RB 35s5 NY |
