Tell us about it. Born to a very wealthy family with parents who loved to travel, and liked to drag us kids to see things and places they had enjoyed. It was not unusual for my parents to get all of our school assignments in advance and take us out of school for a month or two at a time to go somewhere. My prep school graduation present was a brand new BMW R75/5 "toaster", picked up at the factory for a 3 month European tour arranged by Butler & Smith. You asked, I answered. Sorry to learn that the family wealth didn't filter down to you. Shame. Max |

oups.com... Gee... I wonder why that would be true??? Couldn't be because Bush is an idiot... no way. So let me if I got it straight.. You call Bush an idiot for trying to stop Al Queida. Yes, let's get it straight. Bush attacked Afganistan, a country that harbored Bin Laden. Good move. Right on. Then, Bush attacked Iraq, a country that had nothing to do with 9/11. Stupid move. You must be a terrorist supporter, seems you would rather blame Bush for the terrorists killing Americans and Iraqi citizens, rather than the misunderstood Jihadist fellows you respect and want to appease and help push out the only people standing up to them. Feel free to attempt to insult me, but the facts are that Bush launched a war with very little thought and planning, a war of desire not necessity. What country do you think we should invade next... New Zealand? Iran. I'm sure Iran's leader is another one of your heros, who needs and will get your support. I'm sure you do think that. However, Iran is years away from having a nuke, but if you get angry, it doesn't matter who you attack. What happened to North Korea? How about Darfur? Oh yeah, that doesn't quite fit with your version of distorted reality. -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com |

ps.com... On Jun 5, 11:53 am, "Capt. Rob" wrote: You must be a terrorist supporter, Joe, you really should be ashamed, even here on ASA. RB 35s5 NY Why's that? Like you Jon would rather give in, cut and run because he hates our president more than anything. He claims to want to support the troops, but like you know nothing about what they think, and most likely... like you... have never talked to anyone in the service. After all you think they are all retards and degenerates, the scum of American society forced into the military due to no other choices. He wants them to be able to claim victory. He thinks AlQuieda is going to become peaceful and tolerant if we cut and run.. Sounds like supporting the enemy to me. Joe This is you talking, not I. But, that's a typical tactic from someone who doesn't or can't think clearly. -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com |

: From John McCain : "And now, we confront a choice as historically important as any we : have faced in a long while: Will this nation's elected leaders make : the politically hard but strategically vital decision to give General : Petraeus our full support and do what is necessary to succeed in : Iraq? : : Or will we decide to take advantage of the public's frustration, : accept defeat, and hope that whatever the cost to our security, the : politics of defeat will work out better for us than our opponents? No disrespect to you Joe, but NOBODY is talking about *defeating* the folks who gave us 9/11 - the superstitious nut crowd that has 99% Islamic support and is hell bent on imposing their superstitions and laws on everybody else! On one hand we have 'liberals' calling for withdrawal - which will of course hand the wealth of Iraq over to these enemies and give them an immediate victory. OTOH we have the McCain/Bush plan to "stay the course" which looks more and more like McNamara's failed Vietnam strategy every day. He's not going to give General Petraeus a free hand any more than our troops in Vietnam got a free hand. So, instead of giving Islam immediate victory they'll draw it out, killing 3 or 4 of our finest young men and women every week .... draw it out long enough that the next president can, like Nixon, declare victory before pulling out. But the result is the same. Either way we loose! The USA is shown to be a "paper tiger" unable to win anything! "Stay the Course" handed Vietnam over to the Commies and it will hand Iraq over to bin Ladin - period. We need better - we need the kind of resolve that nuked Japan and forced Hitler to suicide. Otherwise, our grandkids will live under a Taliban type government. Saddam was perhaps the biggest obstacle to the forces I shall call Al Qaeda, altho it goes far beyond Bin Laden. Had Roosevelt been as bone stupid as Georgie Boy Bush he would have bombed London and Moscow after Pearl Harbor! But the blunder has been made. Now what? Pull out? Stay with the present failed strategy? The only way to 'win', in the sense of putting a dent in Al Qaeda, is to dump Iraq's Iran-style government then install a dictator who makes Saddam look like Mother Theresa. Have him round up and kill all of the radical clerics calling for jihad. Then close their damn schools where kids get brainwashed on the koran and send the kids to real schools where they learn reason instead of superstitions. Meanwhile support our troops by NOT threatening them with prison if they do what is necessary to suppress these fanatics. Start by emptying Gitmo ... via a gallows! Napalm should prove useful in Iraq and Afghanistan as well. 'Specially since it's made out of pig parts grin. McCain is nothing but a liberal in hawk feathers. We otta send him over there, but he'd just loose another $million airplane and get captured ..... Know any candidate with enough guts to do what it takes to WIN?? |

The driver and liverymen help a lady and gentleman out then begin carrying a young man toward the Hotel. "Jeeze Mable," says the man, "those peaple seem to have it all but I bet they'd trade it all if their son could walk." Overhearing him, the father says "Look you, I am one of the richest men in Texas! That boy is only 23. He hasn't been potty trained yet, let alone had to learn to walk! And when he is old enough I'll make him president of the USA!" |
