left-coaster taking illegal drugs, boasting about it and acting like some
big, experienced, drug authority posting to the Usenet newsgroup alt.drugs
and then when it turns out years later those same posts could constitute
evidence that the individual probably withheld information on his past
drug usage on a USCG captain's license application (a felony), he takes
steps to get them deleted from the archives.

Are you going to inform the USCG?
