RedCloud shivers quite often, but it only has one frequency of shivering, the shiver is always the same, just different durations and strength. Anyone elses boat shiver? Joe If your boat was a thin rod it would have only one modality of "shivering" and one fundamental frequency of resonance. Your iron bucket is a complex structure with multiple modailities and a complex of harmonics. Lloyd Thanks, that's good info. I had always assumed rust was just too soft to have any harmonics at all. Wilbur Hubbard Rust is not strongle coupled to the mechanical structure. That shivering is good for knocking asny rust lose. |
