There are sailboats and there are sailboats. Your boat should be a
reflection of your own life's ambition. If you are just a poor
schmuck living in a double-wide in Pennsylvania then anything you
can come up with to sail I say more power to you. A working man has
to do what he can to get out on the water and should realize even an
unnoteworthy vessel is better than no vessel at all.

------------------------------------------------------------------
To anyone who hasn't realized it, Wilbur (or whoever he is) posted
the initial note trolling in an attempt to get a response from me
(the only lawyer on the ng who owns a MacGregor). Since I didn't take
the bait, he was stuck with all the indignant responses from everyone
else and more or less made an ass of himself. Sorry, Wilbur. - Better
luck next time

Once more. Does anyone doubt that Wilbur (or whoever he is) ended up
with responses he didn't anticipate, when his trolling didn't get the
response he was looking for, and when he ended up having to answer a
number of indignant responses from others participating in the
discussion.

Jim

You'll never make a decent troll. You don't have a clue about what
motivates a troll.

I have no interest in becoming a troll, if that's what you mean.

The type of response matters little. As a matter of
fact, the more indignant the response the better. Trolls are puppet
masters. Not, that I claim to be one.

You don't get it, do you Wilbur. (Or more likely, you're not willing to
admit it.) - It's obvious that you were aiming at me, but you missed.
Instead, you shot yourself in the foot.

I'm just a sailor who likes to
talk about sailing. And motoring around in a Mac26 is a far cry from
sailing.

Sure thing, Wilbur. - Just another devoted sailor who likes to talk
about sailing. (Plus Al Gore, fat people (human swine, according to
you), daylight savings time, anyone who questions Bush's judgement, dumb
illiterates who live in DC, all Dems, etc., etc.

So, get off the group you big dope!

Not a chance. - But maybe you should consider leaving, or at least
leaving behind your "Wilbur" mis-identification.

Scotti Potti has about as much chance of getting his boat out sailing
this weekend as you have of getting your Mac 26 off its trailer without
getting a few more stress cracks in the deck. Do you park it in the back
yards and let the kids use it for a trampoline?

Don't be silly, it's in the 40s here.
