It seems like a ton of stuff came up at the last minute, but it's
starting to look like we'll be casting off for the Marquesas in a
couple of days. The new GPS antenna is working, the new injector
nozzles will be coming tomorrow with the final crew member we've been
waiting for, the new 300' of anchor chain is onboard, the provisions
are all loaded except for the fresh stuff, and the pactor modem is
being fixed so I'll be able to send/recieve e-mail at sea.
I'll miss Mexico big time, but can't wait to see those South Pacific
islands up close!
If Nuku Hiva has an internet cafe, I'll let you know how the passage
went in a month or so.
Take care and play nice.

Mike

Doesn't it always? Sounds like you've had a pretty good cruise so far.

You're going straight to the Marquesas and skipping the Galapagos?
Anyway you can email me via winlink if you want me to post a message
to the group for you.

Too bad you aren't going in a Coronado 27. Instead of a month or so, it
would only take two weeks or so... But, there's nothing really wrong
with a slow trip on a bigger boat so enjoy!
