This is not a flame; this is a clear threat of physical violence.
This is something we'd expect from Richard "the St00pid" Bullis, or
from Edmond Heinz Wollmann - not the words of a 'marginal kook', or
from someone who is merely involved in a Usenet flamewar.

Sean, Kali recently stated that she was considered the most reasonable
and judicious of the kookologists. If by that she is contrasting
herself with you, K-Bitch and ****stain, you can imagine the
difficulty I or anybody else might have in giving her any points for
that claim.

You have no idea of the extent to which Steve Chaney has taken matters
to RL over the past 12 years wrt me, and you have no idea of the
extent to which his raging insanity has caused him to make unspeakably
nasty claims about my children and my grandchild.

Who cares? This is usenet.

Did you read the first sentence? When matters are taken into real life, why
is it so unreasonable to respond in real life? Miguel has merely written
on usenet what he would like to do in real life in response to what someone
has done to him in real life.

This whole "it's only words on a screen" is hogwash because it neglects any
context. It's not such a black and white issue. An appropriate response
depends on what those words are, and whose screen on which they appear. For
example, what if those words happen to contain numbers as well, such as a
SSN and credit card information, and those words appear on the screen of
identity thieves? Have a read on this identify theft victims story and then
tell me that Miguel or any other kook on your list deserves a similar fate?
What if the "words on a screen" are a complete fabrication and appear the
the screen of your employer, or if you're self employeed, potential
customers.

Your "logic" applies equally to:
a) Aaron Kulkis' death threats at Ondrea and Jeanette for talking about
posting his SSNs
b) real lifing in general over every possible perceived defamation.

Oh I know. It's "different" when it isn't your butt buddy Mike.

Aaron Kulkis was Jeanette's obsession and not Ondrea's. It
is cute how you are trying to lay Jeanette's actions on Ondrea's
doorstep.

Words on a screen can have real life impact, and to categorically label
someone as a kook because he/she writes on usenet what he would like to do
in real life, is absurd. IMHO, the fact that Miguel has been busting the
balls and trolling kookologist with great succes is the only reason that
he's been nominated for one of your infantile awards.

Infantile awards. Hmmm. You used to put great credibility in those "awards"
when they were being used against those you didn't like.

And so the last surviving sniggler house of cards comes a'tumbling down...

That is what a house of cards does. Your point? A decade or more is
a
long time to hold a grudge.

No. Rhonda's comment is an obvious and logical outcome of something that
Snarky wrote. I'm in no position to point the finger of accusation about
uncaring, unsympathetic and unthinking self-served justifications for my own
behaviour wrt to Rhonda so I won't point that same finger at Snarky.

to which his raging insanity has caused him to make unspeakably nasty

Charlotte, on the other hand, does.

Yep.

(But did he ever go after your son? Steve tends to go after girls,
especially minor girls, and babies, not fit adult males .)

If you have any questions about
whether Chaney deserves to have his ass kicked, feel free to direct them
to her.

I can't support the "put him in the hospital", even though you, I, and
everyone reading here, including Wonderbra himself, knows that it will
never happen, because Steve tucks his tail and runs for his Fort Machismo
bunker when he gets called on his ****. Has for decades. For
kookologists, Seattle is Steebe's Front Street Gym, his P. F. Chang's.

Steve chickened out repeatedly on me offering to stand him a snack at La
Bou (local wonderful Viet-French bakery) when I was in town, and
I'm Ms. Mild-Mannered Sysadmin Church Lady and was within a local phone
call at the time. And unlike Mike (who is a strong man in physically excellent
shape), it would be fairly tricky for me to do him physical harm, even
were I not in a fully public location and a Nice Lady (tm) to boot.
Steve's met me, and he knows that. Definitely "Delicious Crab Wontons".
(If you're ever in Sac'to, it's all good at La Bou; I'm especially fond
of the ham and cheese croissants.)

Remember that this is the same Steve Chaney who just stalked a usenet
opponent's uninvolved-in-the-argument minor daughter over Myspace, filed a
police report IRL, and published the opponent's uninvolved-in-the-argument
ex-spouse's name and place of employment. Who has been bringing
off-usenet Real Life stuff in years after the relevant parties have
made up with each other. This stuff has happened before,
folks, and has happened repeatedly over the years that I've known him.

And who has done a lot of crap in the "taking it to real life" or
"threatening to take it to real life" - posting addresses (Mike's
included - and, yes, it happened first and had RL consequences), trying to
get police/authorities involved (remember his ludicrous claims that I'm
an embezzler?), trying to screw with peoples' livelihoods, claiming to drive
by his opponents' (note the plural) houses, online and offline (that's
Real Life) harassment of opponents' (note the plural again) children and
grandchildren. Making things up out of thin air. Hiring PIs and search
firms to get information on people who are living their own lives without
him. Having meltdowns when his behaviour is pointed out to him.

Think Chuckles, folks. Although I don't know if Chuckles ever claimed to
poison a dog. That's our Steebie.

I don't spot him particular "UPA" (note scare quotes) points for getting
Migs and Jeem and a few other people riled up by the foul things he pulled
with their kids. I think that most (sane) parents would be as fierce,
although they might express themselves in different ways. I've seen Mike
and Jeem with their kids, and they're great dads. I survived some major
deep **** that happened to me when I was around the age of those girls
because *my* dad, who I still adore wildly, had my back. So I've been on
the "other side" of that kind of bond. It kept me alive so I'm inclined
to cut slack . In other words, it's probably not how I would have
handled it, but I can see where it's coming from.

Steve knows that Mike can give it up. He told me so, live, in
person. Mike's given it up (for times). But Steve likes the attention.
Steve will escalate in increasingly kooky and pathetic ways if he's not
getting enough attention, as all kookologists, both old timer and recent,
should be perfectly well aware of by now.

Charlotte
