Katy,
Even Bush has admitted he was wrong/ spin for lying. Maybe it is
time to get
on with the reality. I hate to be the one to break it to you. Is it
2008 yet?

Mundo, The Captain who is a bully and an ass

Katy won't believe it. Neither will Max. They believe he just
couldn't have lied.

Nice obfuscation, Jon and Mundo. Bush admitted to being misleading
about Rumsfeld's resignation, but not about the important issue--the
WMDs. Big difference.

Max

You're right. He didn't admit lying. We might want to not take him at
his word, since he's a confessed liar.

You are consumed with hatred for Bush. Tell me, why did you hate your
mother? Did you hate your father, too? Did you want to kill your
father? Did you ever kill one of your pets? A neighbor boy disappeared
when you were ten--did you kill him? Have you ever had thoughts of
suicide?

Well, time's up. We'll have to continue this next week.

Max

Can't think of reasoned reply, so you turn to personal attacks? Not very
upstanding Max.

Your sense of humor has disappeared, Jon. I guess I'll have to put a
smiley emoticon after such posts. :-)

Max

Are you saying you're a joke? :-)

You're a lawyer working on sexual harassment litigation I presume? I
doubt it. Are you saying that all the 1000s of businesses are wrong?

When did you become a spokesman for the thousands of businesses in
the country? My guess is that they are far more up-to-date on the
subject than thou.

When did you become a spokesman for moral purity? My guess is that you
aren't much involved in corporate life.

This is an asinine comment, Jon. I'm not making any value
judgements--only bringing you up to date with respect to recent court
decisions. I wasn't the judge in such decisions, and I've opined that
the decisions were probably wrong. But that doesn't alter the fact
that they were made, nor the fact that you're ignorant of them.

So, you're an attorney? I don't think so.

I give up. Beam me up, Scotty. There's no sign of sentient life here.

So, you weren't the judge, and I'm thinking not the lawyer, but you sure
do have an opinion that is unshakable.

As do you...

Not true. Mine is shakable. I'm willing to concede it's possible that Bush
isn't a total idiot. g

Opinions are like assholes, Jon. You know the rest.

Exactly!

Jon wants to see Bush impeached and imprisoned. Of course he doesn't have
the best interest of the country at heart.

I think that's a tad disingenuous, I'm quite sure that Jon is just as
patriotic as you, I'm not even sure if he wants to see Bush impeached.
Personally I think one must recognize that the President did not, and
cannot act alone in declaring and waging a war. Without the support of
both Houses not much is going to happen. So what are you going to do,
impeach one hundred senators and a few hundred congressmen?

Cheers
Marty

Ya got to start somewhere. Besides on a boat or ship the captain always takes
full responsibility of the actions of his crew. In this case the captain was
responsible for the rabble rousing and instigation of both houses. He cried
fire in a theater that was not burning. I know Katy... he did not mean to. I
am sure after all was said he had a self reflective moment...." Did I say
that out loud?"

Aye, now if we could just infuse the whole lot of them with some
humility maybe we might hear something like "Well, in hindsight it looks
like we've screwed up some here, so let's quit blaming everyone else and
find a way out of this mess."

Never happen, no way, no how. It's Bush's fault! No it's Clinton's
fault! No, it's Carters fault! No it's Kennedy's fault! .......

Yep...you got that right....The liveral comic, Whoppi Goldberg (I love
her humor but usually hate her politics) even said it...she said that it
was time we all stopped looking behind us and laying blame and time to
look forward and start fixing...now if someone with her liberal slant
can say that, why can't someone act on it?

Marty, this is pretty typical of the sort of language that Bush, Karl
(Actung) Rove, and such use. If you're not for the president, then you're
unpatriotic. It's designed to scare the people who vote into voting against
reason and judgement.

FYI, I think Bush should be impeached. What he and his lieutenants have done
has be reprehensible and have harmed the country.
