Not according to the latest genetic research, Neal. It has to do with the
maternal hormonal makeup during the first and second trimesters of
pregnancy, apparently. Second and successive sons are substantially more
likely to become gay than the firstborn male child. They haven't related
these studies to females, yet, but that appears to be on the agenda.
