Asbestos water wings!

The EPA and OSHA won't allow them any more, wouldn't want anyone coming
down with asbestosis.

So, is that were you sail too? Some of us get around; I'm often on the
West Coast although live on the opposite, have sailed SF Bay several
times over the last few years.

Groovy man.

So what are you trying to say? That he won't really be back, or that
the person who does come back won't be quite the same?

If he survives the lava he can probably get on James Sokolov's (The King of
Torts) class action suit against the asbestos miners/producers. Perhaps
he'll succumb to mesothelioma and will his tort settlement to you and me.

Just returned... Mexico actually... Baja... I'll post a report in a day or
so. It was, in a word, fantastic.

Welcome Phil. Where do you sail from in the bay?

The gay eye. Isn't that what Doug Dannger says he has?

"Doug Dannger -- Newspaper columnist of the Orange County Courier. Since coming out as a homosexual, he
frequently proclaims his status as "a gay man and a gay journalist," although the proclamation is rarely
relevant to the discussion at hand. In many of his confrontations, Doug claims he will go "eyeball to eyeball"
with the caller, even if one of the two of them has to use a shoebox to level off. He declares as the number
one movie of the millennium, The Shaggy D.A., a Disney flick from the '70s. Whenever someone disagrees with
Doug, he insists it must be because of their homophobia. Among his many assertions, Doug believes that gay
journalists, himself in particular, should be trusted with national secrets since they've already proven they
can keep a secret for a long period of time. "I'm a gay man and a gay journalist because I was born that way."

Cheers,
Ellen

A couple of people are very concerned by homosexuality.... probably their
own. This theme seems to occur with them whenever they run out of anything
intelligent to say... which happens pretty quickly.

Gilligan is a great example of someone who is probably fairly intelligent
but is also great at disguising it, and thus doesn't contribute very much to
the discussion of sailing.

Then of course, there are the trolls and sockpuppets, also contributing next
to nothing.

Doug stops by my steakhouse on a regular basis. He likes the juicy
tenderloin served medium rare and the baked potato wrapped in tinfoil.
Pastor Rennick and Mavis Leonard came by for the all you can eat rib
special. I've even got an autographed photo of Capt Neal shaking hands with
me. Lloyd Bonafide drops in monthly, I have to seat him away from the other
guests. Ellen, you should drop by my steak house too. We can catch a Lakers
game afterwards.

I'm Ted Bell!
