Max Mummers in England were usually apprentices to undertakers and walked before the hearse as a symbol of mourning. Oliver Twist was a mummer in Dicken's rale... Did those early Brits dress like American Indians and play banjos, too? Max I've never seen and American Indian play the banjo... |
