I'm selling Flying Tadpole II, needs a younger and faster driver. She's
been up north at Pt Augusta for some years and the sun's had a bite, I
don't have time to fully restore her, Lady Kate is jealously demanding
what little time is left between deserts, renovating, trying to move,
music, wheels of industry etc. So I trust some enthusiastic local will buy
her (for a fleabite), polish her back up, and proceed to make the bermuda
plastics enraged and second on the big lake races once again!

BUT...the domain name doesn't go with the boat, nor the website, nor the
FT internet tag, nor the music production company, nor the band etc etc,
so be warned.

sale is at duck flat wooden boats www.duckflatwoodenboats.com
For those who can't use a domain link, the actual website front page is at
http://www.ace.net.au/schooner

Sad to hear the news but I'm sure the boat will bring joy to the new owner.
Just think of the memories and, more importantly, the ocassion deserves abit
of the Old Tadpole Verse. Can I suggest some justice served upon "The Flying
Gang" by A. B. Paterson to fit this solemn time? Will the punishment fit the
rhyme?

Of bailing, scraping, caulking, swimming it in because the engine would
conk iut and Mr Sails sinks like a rock? And listening to kids all go
"This isn't fun! We're all wet!" No...no glow of rosey nostalgia..just
relief that an idiot deove by and offered me money for it before I took
an ax to it!
