Tell me though, what's the platform and what's the loadout for air-to-air mission, ANY current U.S. military rotating-wing unit (much less carrier cert)? And why would they launch more fighters when they always have a CAP overhead? It's not just bull****, it's silly. DSK Guy across the way from us works at Grummon..he says it doesn't matter what kind of pics they take overhead..nothing secret's on deck... thats not the point Katy, no(non space) flying object should be anywhere near that close to a carrier without permission. If it were a drone the Navy would have taken it out. The Iranians are just fluffing themself up to make thier capabilities look like more than they are. After all if you can get a drone that close surely you can get a missle that close. It's total BS. Joe |
