Sorry Scotty, I have no rust on Redcloud. If your boat hit a raft of
pumace rocks it would sand thru in no time. If they were red hot they
would just melt thru.

Strongly doubt it.

If they were red hot they
would just melt thru.


If they were red hot, then the water would cool them quickly
(forming large clouds of steam, possibly).

And apparently you did not realize that fiberglass is widely
used in industry as heat insulation. "Red-hot" and
"fiberglass" play otgether quite nicely.

Here are a few pics of the pumice island. Pretty cool photos. As you
scroll down for the show, you might notice that a rare November
hurricane is brewing off the coast just south of us. Ugh!
