When I went down to the boat last week, I was a bit
apprehensive. I hadn't been to the boat since the big winds blew through, and seeing those pics of the carnage up in CT, I was getting worried. As I pulled into the marina, looking down my dock I saw a shredded RF genny blowing free, it looked like mine ( Blue Sunbrella) but I thought it was too close to the end dock , still I kept looking. All down the dock I saw one after another ( 6 all told) boats with damage where they had blown and rubbed against a leeward piling. *Finally* I get to my boat, no damage, nothing, still tied up just as I left her. WheW ! Scotty |
