Well, actually nobody's going to change their mind or change their vote

Bush and Co. would love to change the subject from his failed foreign
policy to something else, but except for a few true believers it's just
so much noise.

The conventional wisdom that comes out of this little mudpie fight is

1) Someone who tends to put his foot in his mouth will have trouble
geting elected president even against a weak opponent and

2) If you don't study, if you aren't smart, if you're intellectually
lazy, you end up presiding over a disasterous foreign policy.
