Oh, Vegemite, you mighty rendition
Of health, prosperity and ambition
Why have they banned you from Aussies ex-pat,
Who swear not to succumb to American fat?
The spread so malicious
It’s taste, unwashed dishes;
Yet loved by so many
It’s truly uncanny..
Vegemite, folate-filled food for the masses
Instantly stirs up gastronomical gasses.
It twists and winds down the esophageal tube
Of King, Queen and peasant and lowliest rube.
Vegemite built up a nation of criminals
With the taste of a night pot or even a urinal.
So what more can we say to our friends from the South
Be careful of what Kraft puts into your mouth!
