![]() Sitting on the deck at the Port St. Joe Marina last Thursday, eating a grouper sandwich observing the most perfect weather I have ever experienced, I concluded that Scout messed up. He should have stayed at least two weeks and sailed the area. Quit the job, stash the kids, or what ever it takes, it would have been worth it. The 32RK that was supposed to replace the 26RK was not there, maybe out, maybe on the trailer, maybe not to be kept there. Then, my wife and I met a close friend and his wife in Pensacola on Saturday and sailed his Hunter legend 35 from Pensacola to Fairhope, AL, stopping at Bears Point to eat at the Giggling Grouper and then to spend the night anchored in Ingrams Bayou. The most quiet night I have ever spent on a boat, absolute calm and complete isolation. An outstanding adventure. Scout, you better go back and make amends. Frank |
