.... Having an HDTV
tuner would be nice but I only paid $250 CDN for it at our local Canadian Tire store. . Ringmaster wrote: .... Standard DVD players do not reproduce HDTV. Well, yeah. Unless you're really picky, why does it matter? .... Funny you state that you bought the TV at a Canadian tire store because in doing an internet search for that brand the only dealer that came up was a tire store in Canada. See, he told the truth! .... What kind of TV manufacture only has distribution in tire stores? A Canajjian one. Hey, here's a joke some people might appreciate... Why doesn't MG (the British car mfg'er) build TV sets? They tried, but they could figure out how to make it leak oil. In the end I didn't think there was a small HDTV that ran off of 12v and I guess there isn't. Check around the RV market. They generally get stuff like this before it filters down to the boat market.
