My boat's getting better thanks to you. I think it was you who said my boat
should have pulleys to pull the jib sheets down. I didn't put on pulleys because
they cost like 80 dollars but I did put on two fair leads made of plastic so now
the jib gets pulled down instead of straight back. It hardly flaps at all anymore.
Hey, and guess what? I can barber haul it now too. :-)
Thanks and hugs.....

Cheers,
Ellen

Just remember, those on-board haircuts by the barber hauler
are not flattering.

Thanks and hugs.....

You're welcome

Yeah, pulleys. You know, those thinga-ma-bobs with the
little wheel inside, for putting a rope thru.

Double yeah! And the ones they wanted to sell me had a spring on the bottom that made it stand up straight.
It swiveled too. It had a bottom part that you bolted to the deck. Very cool but too expensive and strong for
on a little jib like mine. And, it looked like the sheets could get tangled on it. The little plastic fair leads are
smooth and the sheets can't get hung up....

Ellen
