Suzanne grew up with guns and was shooting her own rifle while I was

Oh c'mon, it's not like a 10mm auto pistol is a *real* gun.

If we can't keep them one the Trent-Severn waterway, or the
North Channel (I understand there is not much of a problem
with pirates there, anyway), can we trade the pistols at the
border for some seal clubs?

Any gun is a tool. It is merely a differential pressure
engine. Used properly, it does not kill but rather protects
& enforces the law. Just like any other tool. Hammers &

I'm not necessarily talking concealment, just discretion &
style. And one can wear a moderate sized pistol on a belt
and still carry out work requiring both hands & some
exertion (climbing around on & under machinery for example).

And in the course of everyday life taken a turn for the
worse, what possible scenario requires a 30 round clip? If
you can't solve the problem with eight bullets (or more
realistically, just two in the right place) then you
obviously ****ed up really *really* bad. An assault rifle is

If you shoot one & he falls dead to the floor, the others
will almost certainly start running like hell. I don't know
about Texas, but here one cannot claim self-defense after
shooting people in the back.

If you shoot one & he falls dead to the floor, and the

And you still have 6 bullets left, so as long as they're not

I have only looked at a few and that was years ago, I was

well be that the Glock is a super utility weapon, but it
could also be that it is aggressively marketed to the right

Again at night, it's dark and the door has been forced open (with
Skipper barking like crazy Terry yelling and me yelling I' going to
shoot) I'm going to start blasting in the general direction (taking
care not to hit the Newmar breaker panel) and steadyup on target later.
I would be very aggressive I assure you. The rash of kick in burglers
have shown they are very willing to kill.

And you still have 6 bullets left, so as long as they're not

Some of the recent high profile Katrina murders here in Houston are in
some very affluent neighborhoods. One of the many M.O.'s if following

the driveways, ransacking the house, while one goes to the ATM and
emptys the bank accounts.

That would be fun, the best marine shop in the yard the owner is into

Seems to me that listening to US citizens, torturing people who have not

them to foreign countries to be tortured is something the Bushco
administration excells at. Starting a war of choice rather than necessity

Baby oil or Rose Scented oil?

Don't want to sell it, since I'll need
something to defend myself with when the storm troopers show up.

I thought the storm troppers tactics that flourished under Clinton and
Reno are things of the past.

More likely it's been a few years since I used the term. Why are you so
desperate to prove that I don't know anything about guns?

I wouldn't be going to Iraq to fight our troops even if I agreed that we
should be in Iraq. Also, I'm a bit old for that sh*t anyway. The storm
troopers are here, run by the right-wingnuts if they get there way.

Because you are not familar with the guns you own maybe????

Seems to me that listening to US citizens, torturing people who have not
been charged with a crime, and if that's not possible under US law,
sending
them to foreign countries to be tortured is something the Bushco
administration excells at. Starting a war of choice rather than necessity
seems to be more in line with storm trooper tactics.

So are you saying you are going to Iraq to fight our troops? Remember
you're keeping your guns to ward of storm troopers.

Ganz has proved he knows nothing about firearms... that alone is not only
Un-American..... but considered extremely gay throughout the globe.

Isn't every American male supposed to have served in the military due to the
draft? I wonder how Ganz got out of the draft??? Maybe by hiding in the
closet??

Ahem... must be an "merican" thing.... cause a mag is contained within the
gun and a clip is not everywhere else. Not to mention that every clip/mag
does indeed have a spring or gear mechanism to ensure the following round is
placed to be ready for the action to cycle it into the chamber.

Next you'll be telling me about your spring loaded semi-auto rolling block
action.

Guns should be banned in the USA.

Oh Yeah! Now they're all married, have joined Green Peace, are fighting to
Save The Whales, Hugging Trees and spiking to prevent clear-cuts, protesting
the Seal Hunt, livin' La Vida Veggie, growin' bud,... and generally having
negative effect on the values of the conservative minded citizens who
actually finance and protect their right to be slackards.

Why did they ever have to come up here and be a burden on our system?

Mooron is a very angry person. He can't take responsibility for his own
actions, and feels he has to blame someone. He's been on this tirade now for
several years. It's really quite sad.

If you shoot one & he falls dead to the floor, the others
will almost certainly start running like hell. I don't know
about Texas, but here one cannot claim self-defense after
shooting people in the back.

Joe wrote:
Here you have a right to use deadly force to protect life and property.

Same here. In fact, NC has a very strong freeholder law, you
can shoot people on your property. However, it would be very
very difficult to justify shooting somebody in the back on
the basis that you were protecting yourself, your family, or
your property. If they're running away, they're not
threatening you.

It's been a problem here too, mostly crack-heads. Comes &
goes in waves, usually the spree comes to an ending with one
of the gang getting killed or several of them sent to the
state pea farm for a long long time.

A stun grenade would probably be the best weapon against
them, you could set one off by remote, then just bop them
over the head while they were helpless. Less expensive and
doesn't damage the furniture.
