The marina where he keeps his boat, (power unfortunately, the young
always seem to be in such a hurry), haven't decided if they'll let him
keep the machines there! The owner asked "Are you going to drive around
like a madman?" Heh Heh.

Don't geek bad, Marty...2 of our sons have bass boats....

I've got no problem with a bass boats. Mostly they just sit there
quietly. Yeah, I figure it must be pretty dull, but they're not
actually bat-farking annoying like the jetskis and the viagra boats.

Anybody who operates either of those within a mile of anybody else is
not fit for civilized society.

You're referring to girlfriends, right?

The younger generation is not smitten with sailing as a rule. It's a rare
youngster that prefers sailboats over something that goes fast and burns
fossil fuels at an alarming rate while polluting the environment. I think
it something in their hormones.

Probably just financed them at 11.5% for 20 years, in which case he was
robbed.

Perhaps, but I think the chief issue is that jet ski buyers generally get no
education about waterway rules, etc. Many don't consider themselves to be
boaters, rather just assholes with water toys. They ignore no-wake rules,
etc., until someone yells at them. Then they flip the shouter off and
continue their undesirable behavior until they get yelled at repeatedly and
the lesson begins to sink in. Ultimately most of them begin to ask
questions about what's right and what's not. Only the true idiots continue,
oblivious to boating rules.
