Yesterday was the most windless day I've ever seen. I saw reports of a
few knots but no one could sail at all. We tried for about an hour and half before crying our way home. Drifting by other boats did allow for some odd photo's though! http://members.aol.com/bobsprit/images/maggs02weby.jpg That's some girl on a Catalina shot with Nikon D80 and Nikon 70-200 VR-AFS lens. Today looks pretty dead as well. Ah well. RB 35s5 NY |

Bwahahaha Not on the LIS and lasting all day. We usually get some breeze at some point. I spoke to people who were out all day and they were all surprised that it stayed like that. My friend with the J29 went out at 4 to catch the thermals....and zilch. RB 35s5 NY |

RB 35s5 NY The Harvest Moon Regetta was a bust here as well. 2 kt winds, picked up a bit the died off, Most gave up and motored to the party. 150 miles offshore with no wind makes for a long race. A New York 36 won...go figure a tender LIS Boat has a purpose after all. Joe |
