Bart, what cruising boat has no core material OR framing? Quite a few
boats are cored, some solid below the waterline with stringers like
older C&Cs. The Beneteau boats use a well proven grid system. The C&Cs
and boats like my 35s5 or a new 36.7 are very stiff.
I can't think of any cruising boat that is simply solid glass with no
reinforcements of any kind. Which boat has this?

BTW, did you ever research the B&G rig used by Hunter?

B&G makes pickles, Rob.

Ooops! Got mixed up with B&G instruments....meant to say B&R rig. Ya

It keeps scratching my windshield.

Junk or Junk???

If you wan't a real boat without frames of any type have a strong
Yacht buildt out of Aluminum. If I could afford a new build this would
be the boat.

No framing what so ever.

heavy - flexible

And of course with a solid glass hull you can't have a head below decks.

The reason?

Wait for it...

People in glass sailboats shouldn't stow thrones.

Sorry.

number of years ago (maybe Max will remember this) a German couple
doing a Great Cruise, stayed at my former marina for a little while with
their aluminum sailboat. Was very nice all round but the woman said
that it was hard to heat in the cold weather and that they had sweating
problems inside.

Bart needs to know if the rig is a fractional convertible cutter!
