Thomas and the New Camera
Mooron, this may interest you....this is from the new D80. It's a JPEG fine, shot with the Tamron 90mm Macro DI, which is also a fine portrait lens....shot before we went sailing. http://members.aol.com/bobsprit/images/close3weby.jpg This is straight out of the camera. The D200 can't do this without post work. On the other hand the D200 is a faster camera by far. Anyway....pretty happy with this new camera for now. I'll shoot some sailing pics with it later this week. RB 35s5 NY |

Thanks, Joe. Just a test compared to the old D70 and the newer D200. Poor Gilligan wasn't fast enough with his troll. Oh well. RB 35s5 NY |

Is that a stye in his left eye (upper lid) or just an eye lash?

Is that a stye in his left eye (upper lid) or just an eye lash? A stye (hordeolum) does not appear that way, rather it generally presents as a swollen lid with occasional erythema (redness). What you are seeing on Thomas' photo is a clump of lashes on the superior lid. Not uncommon on kids. Max |

One cute little boy.
Thanks, Max. We kinda like him! RB |

Thanks for the clarification. We wouldn't like the kid to have eye problems!
