The dog is a riot. He had a turtle for a pet last summer.
A
box turtle got in our back fence and the dog carried him
around like a toy, then would put him down & wait for him
to
peek out of his shell. I put the turtle far back in the
woods but he came back. Then when the dog got tired of
him,
he apparently wandered away on his own.

My favorite local wildlife is a pair of very large owls.


I hope for your sake they're not Screech Owls.
