Is that some kind of differential pressure gauge?

Looks almost like SMA connectors and semi rigid but no microwave equipment
would ever hook up to a meter like that.

That prairie masker stuff was/is classified.

I use to have a 3"38 rolling around the office.

I would take you up on your offer but you would have to accept a much
larger, useless piece of microwave equipment in return.

When you get right down to it, aren't all gauges differential?
I asked my students what they thought would happen if I dropped a compound
gauge into a vacuum chamber and dropped the pressure to 500 microns. Most of
them guessed wrong, and were surprised that the gauge read zero before,
during, and after the vacuum was achieved.

Doug,
is your rear mast support a permanent fixture?
(is "permanent fixture" redundant? lol)

Cool shot of dog and deer. Is there a story there? The deer doesn't look too
concerned.

We had similar happenings when we were using the radio fence in Chopper.
The deer get used to the fact that the dog will or can only go so fae,
and since most communities now have strict orinances about loose dogs,
deer are losing their inate fear of them.

The dog was not barking, he was prancing around trying to
get the deer to play with him. The deer probably realized
there was no threat and was wondering what we could offer
for dessert after he eats all our ivy.

We have dozens of deer that wander thru the neighborhood.
The corridor between our fence & the neighbor's is like a
highway every evening.

The dog is a riot. He had a turtle for a pet last summer. A
box turtle got in our back fence and the dog carried him
around like a toy, then would put him down & wait for him to
peek out of his shell. I put the turtle far back in the
woods but he came back. Then when the dog got tired of him,
he apparently wandered away on his own.

My favorite local wildlife is a pair of very large owls.

It's not just some kind, it's an NBS standard (or was, a
long time ago). That's what the yellow tag is.

Oops. Sorry. Good thing no Russian navy guys read this
newsgroup, eh?

Hmm... we could probably work out a swap, but I have to keep
enough working room in the garage for my next boat project.
As stuff accumulates, the boats have gotten smaller- first a
19' Lightning, then a Johnson 18, now a 9 footer.

If I open the back door and there's deer there, they usually
just stand and stare, till the dog comes running, then they
beat feet.
