I'm organizing a sailing charter in the Virgin Islands on a 38-foot
Catamaran from mid-January to mid-March 2007. I'm looking for people who want to join the trip for any period from 1 week to 2 months on a cost-sharing basis There are 3 double cabins on the boat and the cost of the boat-rental would be around $750 per week per cabin. (This is an unusually good deal for a Catamaran in the Caribbean). You don't need extensive sailing skills -- just a willingness to learn and help out. The current plan is to visit the American, Spanish, and British Virgin Islands, and St Martin. You would need to arrange to fly into Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, or St. Thomas in the American Virgin Islands. Activities would include snorkeling, diving, beach-hanging-out, exploring ashore, eating and drinking the local fare, sailing (of course), and other tropical fun. I can provide further details. Let me know if you're interested. (This is not an SSA-sponsored trip). - Howard Torf |
