Default Well, I'm off!

So long all, I'm off to Port St. Joe!

4 days and 2500 miles from now I hope to have a boat to be proud of in my home port.

If this boat is the one, I'll have to learn more about things I've never had, like: an inboard diesel engine, hot water heater, AC, dodger and bimini, lazy jacks, a boom that will swing well over my head, a wheel, cat perch seats, roller furling, VHF radio, a head, winches. I can't wait to get started. I'm trying to keep my expectations low though, as this is my third, long, hope-filled journey in a month - perhaps this time will be the charm.

Be good to each other!

Good Luck. Get yourself a grilled tuna taco at Killer Seafood or run
over to appalach and load up on oysters while you're there. The
marina you are going to is good too.

You will be much happier if you keep looking for boats
and not find them. The two happiest days are when you
buy a boat and when you sell it. If you keep looking
your remain in a state of bliss or blissful ignorance.

Good luck anyway,

Bart

It's OK you can be in my club, we have that too. Great idea
if the boat's overall accomodation/capacity can support it.
There will be cold days as well as hot ones!
