A rolling hitch is primarily used for relieving the strain from another
line. If that's her preference, she doesn't know much about knots.

What should be a concern when so moored.

Clove hitch, finished with a half hitch.

Why? because it's the fastest to tie: just make a reverse larks head,
put one loop over the other, and drop it over the piling. Add a half
hitch to keep it secure.

Docklines with eyesplices are even faster but I don't carry them.
