Winds were perfect....
Boat was perfect...
Suzanne looked perfect...

Loafed along at 5 knots under main...popped the genoa and reefed later
on...somewhere around 70 degrees as the sun set....

Nice pic Bob, the shoreline is almost level, you got Sudsy
to put her beer bottle down for a minute and you've cropped
out her cankles.
Well done!

Given the drinking, she should be wearing a PFD (can't claim it's too
hot in the evening) and the throw ring seems to be tied up quite
nicely. Unfortunately, that's not going to help much when/if wife
takes a drunken lurch back and goes off the boat.

Drunken lurch is'nt as big a problem as tripping on the crack pipe's.

In light of the fact that perfection is a continually elusive quantity, one
can only conclude that your standards are rather, um, depressed.

Sorry you find it so elusive. I found it last night....and with Suzanne
this morning. Perfection is all around you. It only takes perspective
and and open mind to see it.
I hope one day you become mature enough to see this.

She's actually wearing one of those drinking hats. I cropped it out.

Maturity IS the issue, Bubbles. You lack it, therefore you see perfection
where none exists. Your life might be quite satisfactory for you, but
perfect?? Hardly. Are you saying that your boat is superior to, say, a
Swan 64 with a crew of five to sail you around the Sound and serve you
martinis while you and a Victoria's Secret model or two lounge on cushions
in the owner's cockpit? Are you implying that LIS is superior to the Greek
Isles or the Caribbean?

My maturity allows me to know just what a great life I have. I love my wife
of 34 years, and my boat is a fine, comfortable vessel with a great motion
and a decent turn of speed. And our locale is beautiful and offers great
sailing opportunities. But perfect? Hardly.
