Maturity IS the issue, Bubbles.

Clearly.

therefore you see perfection
where none exists.

What a sad and child-like perspective you have. I guess you'll always
have a feeling of inadaquacy in your life.

Are you saying that your boat is superior to, say, a
Swan 64 with a crew of five to sail you around the Sound and serve you
martinis while you and a Victoria's Secret model or two lounge on
cushions
in the owner's cockpit?

If that's your idea of "perfect" then go for it. It's not mine. A Swan
64 makes no sense here and I like to sail my own boat. I also don't
like drinking. Perfection is subjective in life. I found it.

Are you implying that LIS is superior to the Greek
Isles or the Caribbean?

I don't live in those places, so I make perfection here.

My maturity allows me to know just what a great life I have.

Yet you find holes that makes it less than perfect. How sad. If that's
your idea of maturity I want no part of it.

But perfect? Hardly.

Sorry you haven't done better for yourself..

More correctly, your life will always be a delusion, which has been my
contention about you all along.

Bwaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Delusion is grand if you can pull it off, Bubbles.

My maturity allows me to know just what a great life I have.

You'd have to redefine (upgrade) your delusional definition of "perfection"
if you'd done anywhere near as well as I have.

Since perfection is subjective in life, and everyone perception is
different, I offer that everyone's life is a delusion.

So, you are saying there is nothing--absolutely nothing--about your
life
that can be improved upon?

This is why people like you and Doug are so unhappy...or at least sound
that way. If you're having a "perfect" time with your wife or sailing
or both, what makes it less than perfect for you? Do you sit there and
think, "Ah, if only this was a Swan and if only my wife was Charlize
Thieron? If that's how your mind works, always looking and knowing
there could be something better, then you're doomed to a sad life.
Who's to say the Swan wouldn't run aground and Charlize isn't a
terrible lover? You may in fact have perfection for your life and not
be appreciative. Very sad that you maintain this perspective and call
smarter folks delusional.

Delusion is grand if you can pull it off, Bubbles.

Call it what you will, but few people would call my comments
delusional. I had a perfect sail with my wife and she was perfectly
beautiful that night. Is that delusion, love or just one person's
perspective? It doesn't matter, but I maintain factually that you're
missing something important in your life if you can't feel it.

You'd have to redefine (upgrade) your delusional definition of "perfection"

if you'd done anywhere near as well as I have.

I wonder what you think "well" is. I have a friend who restored his
Camaro, married a pretty Italian girl and had 5 kids. It's what he
always wanted. He doesn't have a lot of money or a 35 foot sailboat. He
loves his job and his life. I don't think he'd look at your life and
feel you'd done better. But then he's not like you, so he wouldn't
assume you'd done worse either.
Maxi, it seems you have a LOT of baggage and a very sad perspective on
things.
My time with Suzanne this morning was beyond perfect. I can't stop
smiling. If that's "delusion" I'll have another glass.
