I don't see Rob's email. It's not worth it. However, I can't imagine how it
can be "fine" since it's so low. Maybe it's an east coast thing. I've never seen it out here, not in 30+ years. The way the dock floats? If it floats, then it rises and lowers with the tide. Many people here suspend fenders this way because the dock float makes it work, but the fenders are usually toast by the end of the season. Some of the powerboaters do that at my marina.
