Generally I lower it from the bow until it rests on the bottom, give it an extra 2 or 3 feet, and cleat it off. I have an idea for a drogue device attached to the bow that will stop the boat from sailing around the anchor, but have not made one yet. If it works maybe I'll patent it. Fresh Breezes- Doug King |
