Darwin all the way. Three teens in a plastic boat built for 1 or 2.
Correction. 4 teens. Yep, taking an 8 foot dinghy and overloading it was both dumb and deadly. You don't agree? The Darwin comment refers to the Darwin awards. Golly, Joe. You found nothing. Find any more criminals to drown? RB 35s5 NY |

Here in Texas we do not go thru extra efforts because of the actions of
thiefs, we do not change the way we live to cater to people that may be killed stealing. That may be the dumbest comment of the week if we ignore all of Dave's and Maxi's posts. So you're saying that you WON'T adapt to protect yourself and others. I think I'll be fine with the extra 20 seconds it takes to lock the boat and I don't feel I'm "changing the way I live" by doing it. Tragic that these retards drowned yes, but 9 people drown every day in the USA and 99.999 percent are not stealing boats. Smart people have been known to do dumb things, especially when they're kids. You know nothing about them. Seems in NYC they want to throw the book at the Marina, boat owner, 911 system, ect.ect.ect... That's not what we're discussing. It goes without saying that American as a whole is drowning in lawsuits. Here most teens understand they have a good chance of getting killed stealing. Here too, but then it doesn't appear that these 4 teens stole anything. Now I would never want to have to kill anyone over stealing, but I do know it is the thief who will make the decision for the use of deadly force, not me. Tough words, but I have no use for them. You all pay for the stupity of others. You might be nutty enough to think that your inbred zones are not a problem. Smart folks know better. Just look what the 4 kids cost your city. Right, so I still shouldn't lock up the dink, right? From Hillary trying to introduce a bill to spend 50 million dollars, to you double chaining your dink. It's a sad state of affairs when you are governed and controlled by the actions of the worst in your city. I'm not aware of ANY state where it's any different. Higher population density lead to more problems. Face it Rob, the kids left a party, stole a boat, and drowned. To bad.... so sad. Doesn't appear that stole the dink, but I agree it's sad and useless. Worry about keeping a lifejacket on your own kid, teach him about hypothermia and how fast he can die in icy water, and teach him not to steal. And this means what exactly? Ignore the rest of the world? Sorry, we're a bit more socially responsible than you. I can sense your bitterness, but it sure only helps you...and not even. If the parents of the kids who died did the same then we would not be discussing thier deaths. Oh really? You mean kids taught not to steal and wear lifejackets never steal and always wear them? Dude, you really sound like a dumbf*ck. You should have a chat with Dave. I think he's more your speed. Post away...you too maye have the last word on this. I'm out of it now. That's because I'm truly better than you are. RB 35s5 NY |

a chain on a rubber dink, now THAT'S funny!

Find any more criminals to drown? If it was dumb, and deadly, and they were "taking" someone elses dink, don't you think they were responsible? Tragic...yes What amazes me is you feel forced to double chain your dink, to keep some stupid drunken stealing kids from drowning. Here in Texas we do not go thru extra efforts because of the actions of thiefs, we do not change the way we live to cater to people that may be killed stealing. Tragic that these retards drowned yes, but 9 people drown every day in the USA and 99.999 percent are not stealing boats. Texas provides for the use of deadly force to protect property from various forms of damage and from theft. Seems in NYC they want to throw the book at the Marina, boat owner, 911 system, ect.ect.ect... Here most teens understand they have a good chance of getting killed stealing. Now I would never want to have to kill anyone over stealing, but I do know it is the thief who will make the decision for the use of deadly force, not me. Seems you NYC people like to be put on a tight leash, geeeze you can not even have a trashcan in your marina because some retard fills it with paint or battery acid. You all pay for the stupity of others. Just look what the 4 kids cost your city. From Hillary trying to introduce a bill to spend 50 million dollars, to you double chaining your dink. That may be the dumbest comment of the week if we ignore all of Dave's and Maxi's posts. So you're saying that you WON'T adapt to protect yourself and others. Oh yes we adapt, we have laws that require locked gates around swimming pools to protect children, we have laws that require loaded guns to be kept away from children. We have lifejacket laws, ect.ect.ect. I think I'll be fine with the extra 20 seconds it takes to lock the boat and I don't feel I'm "changing the way I live" by doing it. "It is, but no club is 100% safe and when those teens were killed we all started locking up the boats. Note also that there are no oars in place, so it can't be rowed. And the sparkplug wires are off. Those kids died because a dinghy was sitting there all set to go. " So you remove your oars, spark plug wires, and lock your dink up ion 20 seconds. And you said "WE ALL" as in you all changed your lifes and actions due to. Tragic that these retards drowned yes, but 9 people drown every day in the USA and 99.999 percent are not stealing boats. Now I would never want to have to kill anyone over stealing, but I do know it is the thief who will make the decision for the use of deadly force, not me. Tough words, but I have no use for them. Well I figure if a bad guy points a gun at you or a knife and tells you to give him your wallet. You draw, shoot, and kill the bad guy. So what if you had $6.00 in your wallet, credit cards, ID, and some family pictures, plus a shopping list for groceries needed for dinner that night. Did you just kill a person over the contents of your wallet, totalling no more than a few dollars? Many people would argue that is exactly what you have done. That would be wrong, however. You defended your life from a bad guy who threatened you with harm. At the point and time your well being is put in danger, the fact that the bad guy wants your wallet is no longer of consequence. The confrontation is now one of life and death, not for the contents of your wallet. The issue of the wallet is only salient in that it is what attracted the bad guy to you. I realize a lot of people like you Robert would gladly turn over their wallet and chalk up the incident to experience, file a police report, and comfort themselves with the notion that they could not use violence to protect something like their wallet. This sort of reasoning is based on the concept that the bad guy is essentially negotiating with you for your wallet. "Your wallet or your life" type of negotiations. The obvious choice is to give the guy your wallet, only why would you believe you will still get to keep your life? If the guy is breaking the law by robbing you and threatening your life, then why would you believe he is negotiating in honest good faith and will simply leave after getting what he wants? Giving him the wallet does not assure you that the bad guy will leave without harming you, your wife or kids, infact most murders happen during robberys. You all pay for the stupity of others. You might be nutty enough to think that your inbred zones are not a problem. Smart folks know better. Just look what the 4 kids cost your city. Right, so I still shouldn't lock up the dink, right? I do not lock mine up at the marina. From Hillary trying to introduce a bill to spend 50 million dollars, to you double chaining your dink. It's a sad state of affairs when you are governed and controlled by the actions of the worst in your city. I'm not aware of ANY state where it's any different. Higher population density lead to more problems. excuses, excuses, excuses....typical NYer fashon. Face it Rob, the kids left a party, stole a boat, and drowned. To bad.... so sad. Doesn't appear that stole the dink, but I agree it's sad and useless. Ignore the rest of the world? Sorry, we're a bit more socially responsible than you. I can sense your bitterness, but it sure only helps you...and not even. I'm not bitter, I might be if I felt forced to remove the spark plug wires and chain my dink up. If the parents of the kids who died did the same then we would not be discussing thier deaths. Oh really? You mean kids taught not to steal and wear lifejackets never steal and always wear them? Dude, you really sound like a dumbf*ck. I think a dumb**** would pull spark plug wires ever time he leaves his dink un-attended. You should have a chat with Dave. I think he's more your speed. Post away...you too maye have the last word on this. I'm out of it now. That's because I'm truly better than you are. You are a slave to thiefs. What if they cut your chain and row out, a sharp knife will go thru that blow up padeye with ease. Maybe you should deflate it, and lock it in your Kia to be real safe. Infact I think you should sell it, no sence in murdering more kids just because you want to enjoy the water. Just how selfish are you Robert? All you dirty ******* on City island should give up on boating to save the children. I suggest you pin a blue ribbon on your T shirt and start another crusade. Joe RB 35s5 NY |

They "stole" a 7 foot dinghy to row over to Hart Island. That's some crime, pinhead. Not very smart, but hardly serious either. You're a complete ass. RB |
