The helmsman's shorts are being blown such that the wind is coming from
directly aft. And yet, the boom, just in shot at the edge of the picture, is
pointing aft rather than out for a run - they're motoring slowly in a tail
wind. That looks like fine weather for a fun, trouble-free run downwind. Why
not get the spinnaker up?
