Default Thursday Sail Report

It was blowing nicely in the afternoon...took Heart of Gold out to get
her reefing sorted out better. Sailed under main alone....WOWEE ZOWEEE!
I just love being able to sail like this. It may be lazy, but it's also
great for a quick sailing fix. She does everything well under main
alone, even in pretty light air. In 13-18 knots she sang.
Suzanne and friends wanted to sail so I finished up with our dinghy
(towing it to Oyster Bay this weekend) and picked everyone up.
At 6 pm it was still pretty good out there until a tiny little
rainstorm left us with almost no wind at all. Well, it was still a nice
couple of sails and Thomas had a blast with all the girls fawning over
him. Lucky guy!
Before the wind died Suzanne got in some time at the big wheel and
commented on how easy the boat was compared to the C&C and
Pearson....and oh, so much faster.
