Default Sloco's been pretty quiet!

Notice how dumbass Sloco got REAL SILENT after his dopey post wondering
which high quality boats used the Whitlock Cobra RP Steering
system.....and he let everyone know that he thinks C&C and FARR are
high end boats!!!

No wonder he and Scotty love eachother....trailer trash kissing cousins
they be!!!

(Okay...just watched Yoda say, "If so powerful you are, why leave?" I
really dig the last Star Wars movie!)

I've been "quiet" because I've been sailing. My keyboard time always
tapers off in the summer.
Once again you missquote. Go back and check my post. I never said
FARR and C&C were high end. I said C&C was trying to make a high tech
statement these days and that FARR would use anything that would
improve their boats performance. Aparently a rack and pinion steering
system would do neither.

Farr does not charge enough for their boats (nor does C&C) to add such
an expensive steering system. Cable steered boats do just fine...until
you try a better system. X-Yachts is using R&P. So is Oyster!

Dude, give it up!

Really doug? Compare cost of Farr to Oyster. X-Yachts had to switch
from Whitlock to another R&P system to save money.

Does Oyster build custom VOC racers?

It's a notch below "stupid" to say that a builder "does not
charge enough" when they build the best boat possible for
the service, and charge accordingly. It's like saying
America's Cup racers aren't expensive enough to justify
having really good sails.
